MARTA TO PARTICIPATE IN WORLDWIDE EFFORT HIGHLIGHTING NEED FOR MORE PUBLIC PARK SPACE
ATLANTA - The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) is a proud participant in PARK(ing) Day on Friday, Sept. 20. This worldwide event deprioritizes cars and focuses on creating public spaces and activities for people. Join MARTA at two locations for an exciting day of pop-up parks, turning parking spots into creative spaces for art, play, and relaxation.
MARTA’s Activities:
MARTA’s Research & Analysis Department will transform a curbside parking spot near Tech Square into a green parklet and engage with people about their travel behavior.
